Mysore

This hill station is 1600m above sea level and was once the summer resort of erstwhile British Government in South India. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji (scientifically known as Strobilantus kuntianus). This flower bathes the hills in blue every twelve years will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the uppermost peak in South India, Anamudi hill, which towers over 2695 m. Day 01: Bangalore

Arrive at Bangalore airport / railway station and you will be received by the Amazing Kerala representative. Check in to the hotel on arrival and rest of the day proceeds for a sightseeing tour of Bangalore. Visit the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens is noteworthy, drive past the VidhanSabha, which houses the state Legislative Assembly and part of the secretariat, Cubbon Park, Kemps Fort and Commercial Street. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Mysore

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Mysore (150 kms / 03 hours). Enroute visit Srirangapatna where the legendary warrior Tipu Sultan built an exquisite summer palace. On arrival check in at the hotel and then proceed for a visit of Mysore Maharaja’s Palace, St. Philomena’s Church and the magnificent Vrindavan Gardens in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Ooty

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Ooty (159 kms / 04 hours) the Queen of Hill stations nestled in the Nilgiri range. Enjoy the now covered hills during the trip. On arrival check in at the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Ooty

After breakfast, visit the Botanical Gardens and the Museum with the numerous varieties of ornamental trees and plants. Enjoy the majestic waterfalls, never-ending forests, beautiful tea gardens, lush green meadows and placid lakes of Ooty. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Kodai

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Kodaikanal (250 kms / 07 hours). It is a charming hill station that sits amidst sylvan beauty on the Southern crest of the upper Palani Hills. Arrive and check in hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Kodai

After breakfast, proceed to the Shenbaganur Museum which houses one of the best orchid collections in India. Also visit the Coakers Walk on the steep southern face of the Kodai Ridge with its Telescope House and to the picturesque Kodai Lake where boating is a favorite past time. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07:

After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Munnar (162km). Enjoy the beauty of nature on the mist covered hills of Munnar on the journey. Check in to the hotel and proceed for a walk in the evening to the tea plantation resorts of Munnar. Visit the magnificent Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls.  Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 08:

After breakfast, checkout the hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Check in to a houseboat at Alleppey for a marvelous cruise on the backwaters. Enjoy the serene and beautiful Vembanad Lake and its acheckout the hotel bundant natural beauty. Also enjoy the local cuisine at houseboat. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 09:

After breakfast, checkout the houseboat and leave to Cochin. After checking in at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing in and around Cochin. The prominent tourist locations like Dutch palace, Marine Drive, Fort Kochi, Bolgatty palace and Backwaters can be visited. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day10: Return

After breakfast, checkout the hotel. Have a souvenir purchase from Cochin and ends the tour with marvelous memories.
