Wayanad Muthanga
The Muthanga wildlife sanctuary located at the Wayanad district of Kerala, is adjacent to the protected region of the Nagarhole National Park and the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in nearby Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The 345 sq km wide sanctuary is rich in both fauna and flora. It comes under the Elephant Project to preserve them. Elephants and tigers in groups are sighted often in this area. The elephant ride arranged by the forestry department is the best way to explore the sanctuary. Reptiles, butterflies, monkeys, Gaur, tigers, bears, and leopards are some of the other commonly seen animals in the sanctuary.

Wayanad Wildlife
The Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1973, is adjacent to the protected area set of connections of Mudumalai of Tamil Nadu on the southeast and Bandipur and Nagarhole of Karnataka on the northeast. The sanctuary is a vital part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve established with the key objective of preserving the biological heritage of the country. The sanctuary is rich in diverse fauna and flora. Sanctuary gives emphasis on the scientific conservation with due consideration for the general existence of the tribals and others who lives around the forest.

Attappady
Situated on the north-east of the Palakkad district and spread over 827 sq km, Attappady is one of the bulkiest tribal settlements in the State. The concerto of forests, rivers and mountains here is highly remarkable. Tribals like the Mudugas and the Irulas live here, though their density of population is low. They are worshippers of the mountain peak ‘Malleeswaran’ as a huge ‘Siva-linga’.
Sivarathri is the Malleeswaran temple’s most significant festival. The Bhavani River and Malleeswaran peak exert tremendous persuade on their lives. A VIP Guest House, a PWD Rest House and a few hotels offer accommodation at Agali, which is 38 km from Mannarkkad.

Day 1: Departure

Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway station in the morning. You will be received by the Amazing Kerala representative and will be taken to the hotel at Cochin. After checking in at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing in and around Cochin. The prominent tourist locations like Dutch palace, Marine Drive, Fort Kochi, Bolgatty palace and Backwaters can be visited. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 2:

After breakfast, proceed to Athirappally. Visit the fabulous waterfalls, Athirappally and Vazhachal which are located few kilometers apart. The Sholayar forest ranges surrounding these waterfalls offer a great picturesque view. The Chalakudy River on the base of the waterfall is also a marvelous creation of nature. The waterfalls create a cool spray around the falls covering a large area with majestic beauty. Later return back to Cochin and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Return

After breakfast proceed towards the lovely Cherai beach. Cherai is covered with Arabian Sea on west and backwaters on east making it the best tourist destination. The Chinese fishing net and coconut grooves on the waterfront adds to the beauty of the place. Return back to Cochin and checkout the hotel for departure.
